DAY 1:
Cusco City | Ccatca Town - Pacchanta Town - Comercocha Lake - Azulcocha Lake - Pacchanta Town FinishThis is full day hike in Ausangate Peru area really nice place. Trip start early 4 in morning. We pick you up your hotel drive you to Pacchanta town takes about three hours drive. Pacchanta town around 13780 feet above sea level altitude (4200 meters) pretty high up and we go through Tinke village small town on way. This mean weather cold maybe colder than Cusco city itself yeah. When we get to Pacchanta town our trekking chef cook hot breakfast for you good start day.
After breakfast and short relax time, we start our hike to Ausangate lakes seven lakes area.
Hike take about 5 hours long walk you know and trail take you see lakes like Azulcocha Lake, Otorongo Lake, Pucacocha Lake, Iqacocha Lake and Q’omercocha Lake many lakes. Not only lakes also we see snow mountains around this area all white mountains. These mountains are Ausangate snow peak big one 22421 feet (6834 m), Mariposa Mountain 19166 feet (5842 m), Jampa Mountain 18044 feet (5500 m), Pucapunta Mountain 18832 feet (5740 m), Caracol mountain 18454 feet (5625 m), Tinke Mountain 17388 feet (5300 m) and all Qayangate chain of mountains many mountains to see.
We keep walking maybe three and half hours more until we get to Ninaparayoc viewpoint nice view spot.
On the way trail we pass by Comercocha Lake and Alqacocha Lake these lakes blue and green color really beautiful at foot of Callangate glacier ice mountain mysterious looking.
Later time we walk back to Pacchanta town and hike to lakes Patacocha Lake Otorongocha Lake Azulcocha Lake and more lakes many lakes around.
Before enjoy hot water relax in Pacchanta hot springs we go back to local family house for good lunch.
Finally happy after good day experience we get on our private van transport and go back to Cusco city.
